Cramond
Island – one of the
islands in eastern Scotland, near Edinburgh, is connected to the share by a one
mile long (about 1,6km) walkway which is covered at high tide. It is easily
accessible on foot from the mainland at low tide, so Cramond Island is only a
true island for a few hours at a time. I had a chance to see it 3 days ago! The island is one of 43 tidal islands that people
can walk to from the mainland in UK.

It is really popular place, a lot of people,
especially families visit it. I also met great number of people who went for a
walk with dogs. On a sunny day it's a lovely walk along the prom or the beach. It is perfect place to enjoy sun, send and
sea. We can also admire mountains in the distance. People can cross two hours before and after low tide, but everyone
should check tide times before go and
allow enough time to get back.

It was extremely delightful experience for me. I have never
seen before this natural phenomenon.
